Tanisha Wright Signs in France

Tanisha Wright, the Israeli league's reigning MVP who led Raanana Hertzelia to the finals, will play for Tarbes next season.

Tanisha Wright, Raanana Hertzelia's excellent guard who was the league's MVP and played for Hapoel Tel Aviv two years ago, will play for Tarbes, who finished 10th in France last season. It'll be Wright's first season out of the USA and Israel. These days Wright is playing for the Seattle Storm, one of the WNBA's top teams, and averaging 4.6 points and 1.8 assists off the bench.

Wright was the Israeli league's most consistent player all season and led Raanana Hertzelia to the best season in club history, ending a 6-year playoff absence and making the finals. Wright scored 21.3 points on great shooting and grabbed 6.4 rebounds per game, and also led the league in assists (6.2) and steals (3.2) per game.
