Chasity Melvin, who started the current season with Ramla, has joined Electra Ramat Hasharon's Europe Cup roster in place of Deanna Jackson and will play with the team on Thursday.
Ramat Hasharon will have a full lineup for the 2nd game in the Europe Cup 1/8th finals against Extrugasa, after signing Melvin. She won't be able to play in the Israeli league since the deadline for signing players who played on other teams in the league passed two weeks ago. Ramat Hasharon is looking for a different replacement for the injured Jackson for the league.
Ramat Hasharon must win by seven points or more in order to advance to the 1/4 finals on Thursday.
Melvin was released from Ramla at the holiday break, after averaging 17.1 points (64.6% 2pt, 59.1% FTs and 8.8 rebounds in 28.9 minutes per game.
