Deanna Jackson, who injured her left knee with six seconds left in Thursday's Eurocup game, was examined in a hospital today and learned that she has season ending tears in her ligament. "It still hasn't sunk in", said Jackson.

A primary examination on Deanna Jackson's left knee reveled that the knee injury suffered with six seconds left in the Eurocup game is season ending. There are several tears in her ligament, and an MRI test has been scheduled for tomorrow.

"I've never been on such a special team, I can't believe this happened to me. The last month was too good to be true, it hasn't sunk in", said Deanna Jackson.

"An injury is always a sad thing, but this season when the chemistry was so rare, it hurts twice as much. We lost Jackson not just as a player but as a person, but we have a team with enough mental toughness and strength to recover and move forward", said Chairwoman Rachel Ostrovich. The team has begun searching for a replacement for Jackson.

Jackson is the league's 2nd best leading scorer with 21.8 points per game, and she also averaged 6.8 rebounds per game. This is her second straight season in Ramat Hasharon, who is currently leading the league with one loss only.
