Elizur Ramla signed forward Jaclyn Johnson, as a 3rd foreigner for the Israeli league. Johnson, who started the season in Russia, will play on Monday. It hasn't been decided whether she'll join the team for the Europe Cup also.

After they released Anastasia Kostaki, it was pretty obvious Ramla was going to bring in a 3rd American player and use Natasha Andjelic for Europe only. They chose to sign Jaclyn Johnson (6'2, 28) who played two seasons in Israel before. In five games in the Russian league and two in the Europe Cup, Johnson averaged 7.3 points (52.0% 2pt, 9.0% 3pt, 70.0% FT) and 5.0 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game.

In the 02/03 season Johnson played in Ramla and made it to the finals with them, she averaged 17.9 points (52.5% 2pt, 48.1% 3pt, 73.0% FT) and 7.2 boards per game. The season before that she played in Raanana, and recorded 20.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
