Born in Sarajevo, which was still a part of Yugoslavia... Departed from the country with his Jewish mother to Israel when the war in Bosnia began... After 2.5 years left to the States, where he played in a Californian HS... During that period, his younger brother died a sudden unexplained death... Committed to Indiana University, but changed his mind and decided to enter the 2004 draft... After several impressions with NBA franchises, signed with Racing Paris, but missed the entire 04/5 season due to a shoulder injury... In 2006, joined Israel's U-20 NT, but another heart-breaking injury kept him out the entire summer... |
