Tapiro Returns to Bnei Hasharon!
Safsal ,06/26/2007
After 5 years in 2 different periods, Meir Tapiro surprisingly leaves Hapoel Jerusalem and signs a 2-year deal with Bnei Hasharon.

Meir Tapiro was the tragic hero of the playoff finals. He has had the game of his life, leading Jerusalem to a 13-point third quarter lead, but then committed two controversial fouls within a minute, and fouled out. With tears in his eyes, he has seen Arnold's put-back with 2.2 ticks to go, stealing him his long-waited championship.

It seemed that he'll finish his career as Jerusalem's captain, but the negotiation didn't work well, and today he has signed with Bnei Hasharon for 2 seasons.

Last year he averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in the league, and 18.0 points in the Final 4.
