Marcus Hatten, who led the Premier League in scoring last year, will stay for his third season in a row in Israel, this time with Ironi Ashkelon.
Marcus Hatten, who led the league with 23.0 points per game last season, signed tonight with Ironi Ashkelon, who'll be his third team in Israel after Ramat Hasharon and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
The St. John's graduate has also played in Spanish's second flight, Poland and Venezuela in the past. This summer he has tried his luck again in the NBA, but didn't get a contract.
Hatten, who scored 30+ points in 8 league games last year, finished the season with a half-court buzzer-beater which gave Hapoel a road win in Galil. In his first trip to Ashkelon that season he led Hapoel to a surprising win with a huge triple-double.
