Corleone Young, who was considered a big prospect in the end of 90's and was drafted out of high school, signed with Bnei Hasharon.
Corleone Young signed with Bnei Hasharon, who completed the roster after previously signing Ousmane Cisse, Cookie Belcher and Julius Page.
Young was taken in the 40th draft pick in 1998 by Detroit Pistons right out of high school, where he averaged 30.3 points and 11.4 rebounds in his senior year. He played just 3 games for the Pistons, before starting his wandering in the World: CBA, IBL, Australia, CBA, Russia, China and Italy.
Young is still mentioned every now and then as an example of why players should make the NCAA before declaring themselves for the NBA draft. His huge potential will be under the spotlight in Israel, as Bnei Hasharon hopes that they'll be the team who'll finally enjoy his amazing prospect.
