Tolbert Signs with Rishon

Brian Tolbert will stay for his third season in a row in Israel, after signing with Maccabi Rishon, who will also loan Dustin Villepigue from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Brian Tolbert is the second foreign player to sign this summer with Maccabi Rishon after Ryan Sidney. Tolbert, who arrived to Israel two seasons ago and relegated with Maccabi Petah-Tikva, averaged 17.4 points and 3.2 assists per game last season with Ironi Ashkelon.
Dustin Villepigue (23, 2.06 m), a Jewish forward who graduated from UNLV this summer and was bought by Maccabi Tel Aviv, will be loaned for Maccabi Rishon next season. Villepigue averaged 6.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game last season for the Runnin' Rebels.
