Bratic Stays in Galil
Uri Savir ,05/24/2006
Sasa Bratic, who arrived to Galil only a few days before the start of the season, extended his contract for next year as well.

Last summer, all teams but Maccabi Tel Aviv replaced all of their foreign players. This summer, we already have one team who'll keep at least one: Galil Elyon, who signed a 1+1 year extension with Sasa Bratic.

The serbian forward averaged 16.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in the league, and 15.4 points along to 4.2 boards in the Eurocup. In just 3 games he didn't score in double-digits, and many times scored a team-high.

Galil is Bratic's first stop outside his home country, and he signed there only a few days before the start of the season. He'll be Galil's first foreigner to stay for back-to-back seasons since Lamont Jones in the beginning of this decade.
