U20 team in Quarter Finals

The Israeli under 20 team clinched a place in the European Championship 1/4 finals with a win over the Czech Republic.
Israel 78 - Czech Republic 68
Israel started out well and contorled the game through out. After one the Israelies led 17-12. They increased the gap in the 2nd half, as Raviv Limonad scored 15 points. The score was 36-27 at the half.
The trend continued in the 3rd quarter as the lead reached 17. The Czechs woke up in the final minutes of the 3rd and cut the lead to 53-47 after 3. Israel held on to the lead in the 4th despite several comeback attempts by the Czechs. The gap was only 5 with 3 minutes left but Limonad and Halperin made sure their team made it onto the 1/4 finals. Israel wraps up the qualifying round tomorrow vs. Croetia.
