The long awaited classic cup final is here, as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Jerusalem will battle tonight (20:50) for the first title of the season. Burstein is out with an injury.

The preparations were complete, everything's ready and all eyes will be headed to "Nokia" Stadium tonight, as Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv will fight for the state cup, which in the end will be handed to either Meir Tapiro or Derrick Sharp.

Maccabi has won the last 8 cups, but still hasn't forgotten the two losses to Hapoel Jerusalem in the mid-90's finals. After snapping Climamio Bologne's home winning streak on Thursday, the Yellows arrive with a good momemntum, but without the injured Tal Burstein.

Hapoel Jerusalem will play their 8th cup final in 11 years, but after winning on the first occasions, they've lost the previous six times to the Yellows. For Coach Edelstein, and many of his players, it'll be the first chance to win a title.

Jerusalem come after a huge performance against Rome, in which they exploded in the second half to clinch a ULEB Cup semifinal berth. Two years ago, after making his first European final four, Edelstein guided Hapoel Tel Aviv to a huge blowout against Maccabi in the next game.

Horace Jenkins and Anthony Parker colloberated in Rome, Edelstein was Gershon's assistant in Jerusalem's first cup, Jamie Arnold played with Ido Kozikaro in Galil and Will Solomon guided Jerusalem to their only European trophy two years ago. Tonight, each side would like to celebrate in the end.
