Hapoel Jerusalem 91 - Ironi Nahariya 79
After 3 wins in a row, Nahariya had a big test in Malcha, but managed to lead for one quarter, before Meir Tapiro took over with a near triple double of 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Erez Markovich had a big game against his ex and dominated the paint with Austin, but Young and Ben-David shaved it from down 18 to just 6. Then came Naor, who finished the deal with two huge steals. Cory Carr scored 6 points, but none since the first quarter.

Jenkins led 6 Jerusalem players with double-figures with 19, Austin added 18, Tapiro and Slay 12 each, Markovich 11 (8 rebounds) and Mason Jr. 10. Young scored a game-high 24 points in a losing cause, Hill was the only other player with more than 8, he had 15.

Bnei Hasharon 103 - Maccabi Rishon 96
Maybe with the spirit of the All Star Weekend, both teams shot in amazing percentage early on, as Adam Harrington's 26 first half points lead the locals to a 59-45 lead. Rencher controlled the game, but Rishon came back from 17 behind to just 5 in the final minute, before falling to Coach Gino's team, who for the first time defeated a better-ranked team.

Harrington scored a season best 36 points (6-7 for 2, 7-10 for 3), Rencher added 26 (9-11 FG), Cisse 15 (10 boards, 3 blocks), Onyekwe 12 and Pniny 10. Sneed had 23 for Rishon, Matthews 18, Gilchrist 15, Eitan and Minoff 12 each.

Galil Elyon 73 - Ironi Ashkelon 74
After 4 league losses in a row and a big defeat in the cup semi's, Galil was hoping to return to their winning ways, and enjoyed Smith's good debut to take an early double-digit lead. However, Kurtz and Tolbert led a comeback which gave the visitors a late 2-point lead. Nsonwu made a 3-point play and blocked Tolbert's shot, but Sha'ashoua banked in the game winner, before Smith's last attempt hit nothing. First win for Ashkelon in 2006.

Nsonwu tallied 18 points and 11 rebounds, Smith 12, Eliyahu 11 and Bratic 10 for Galil; Tolbert had 20 for Ashkelon, Kurtz 18 and Snow 15.

Ramat Hasharon 94 - Ramat Gan 83
Fourth loss in a row for Ramat Gan, who won only once on the road this season. Ramat Hasharon led almost the entire way, with great ability from the last 2 MVP's of NCAA Div. II: David Logan with 20 points and Elad Inbar with 17. Veal also had 20, Okafor 15, Romero 12 (11 rebounds) and Roey Berkowitz 7 (10 AS). Madison had 21 for Ramat Gan, Gardner 19, Awojobi 18 and Rice 12.
