Hapoel Jerusalem will play Bnei Hasharon and Galil Elyon against Maccabi Tel Aviv in a state cup semifinals double-header in "Nokia".
Everybody expects the classic cup final between Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv, but in order to get there, they'll have to pass two stubborn teams who are still dreaming on the title.
Hapoel Jerusalem will play Bnei Hasharon in the first game (18:45). Hasharon stunned Nahariya in last year's semis, after erasing a 6-point last minute gap, but tonight it'll be much harder.
In the league Jerusalem crushed them on the road 95-71, but that was without Terrence Rencher, who looks much better lately. His matchup with Horace Jenkins will be vital to both sides.
In the second game, Maccabi Tel Aviv will play Galil Elyon (21:00), with one clear mission: To defend the cup for the 9th straight time - an Israeli record. Galil, who lost their last 4 games, is the clear underdog, especially if Bryant Smith won't be able to play again.
