Uri Savir ,01/04/2006
Ron Slay asked to leave Givat Shmuel, and after his request was answerred, the team's coach announced his resignation.

Not even one doll moment in Givat Shmuel: Shortly after Ron Slay, the team's foreigner, was released due to his request, the head coach Adi Azulay, announced his resignation, since he asked not to cut Slay.

The American forward, who averaged 16.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game so far, received a tempting financial offer from Italy, and asked to leave the team. Azulay, who himself replaced Neno Ginzburg less than a month ago, hasn't won even one game. The chairman, Motti Amsalem, will try to convince him to stay.
