Johnson Returns to Israel

Michael Johnson, last year with Galil, signed with Givat Shmuel. He replaces Gerrod Abram.
Givat Shmuel has decided not to sign Tim Pledger, who showed decent ability in his tryouts. However, since the team won't be able to change another point guard, they've decided to sign Michael Johnson, who averaged 15.6 points and 4 assists last season with Galil. Johnson started the season with Monfratto in Italy's A2, but despite 18.7 points per game, was released.
