Hapoel Travels to Ashkelon

The 8th day of the Premier League kicks off on Sunday as Ashkelon, who negotiates with James Head, hosts Hapoel Tel Aviv, who wants Gary Trent. The rest of the games - on Monday.

Ironi Ashkelon will host Hapoel Tel Aviv on Sunday at 19:45, in the first game of the 8th day. The teams have already met twice in the State Cup's 1/8 finals: Hapoel won by 10 on the road with Hatten's triple-double and lost by only 2 at home.

Ashkelon, who lost Adrian Pledger to Korean and signed Andre McCullom last week, hasn't extended Willie Jenkins' one month contract, and will play with only 3 foriengers. The team is after James Head, who played last season in Haifa BC.

Hapoel Tel Aviv's looking for another win after last week's victory over Givat Shmuel, and like Ashkelon will also play with just 3 foreigners. Hapoel is checking out their option to sign Gary Trent, who was recently cut from Virtus Rome. Trent, the former NBA forward, seems to be too expensive for the "Reds".
