Jay Straight and Uche Nsonwu led Galil Elyon to their third League win in a row, 81-71 at home over Ironi Nahariya.

Galil Elyon won the Northern derby of the Premier League tonight, 81-71 at home over Ironi Nahariya, which played without the suspended Jayson Wells.

Galil led right from the start, as Nahariya can't make an outside make (0 for 7 from downtown in the first 10 minutes), but after a 20-14 first period lead, Peleg and Sukar led Nahariya to a mini-comeback which got them within 2, 34-36.

The second half continued in the same way - Galil leads in small margins and Nahariya chasing. Nsonwu dominated inside, and after 53-49 in the end of the third, Eliyahu and Straight woke up and led the home team to a game-clinching run, 81-71 in the end.

Nsonwu led Galil with 20, Straight added 16, Eliyahu 14, Gordon and Bratic 10 each. Nahariya had 20 from Hill, Peleg 18, Hall 9, Sukar and Carr 8 each.
