Ironi Ashkelon, who still hasn't given up on their rights on Adrian Pledger, has signed Andre McCullom to replace him.

Ironi Ashkelon returned home on Friday after the great win in Kunin. Adrian Pledger, who was supposed to make his debut on Saturday for the Korean Dongbu, still can't be registerred because of Ashkelon's complaint to FIBA.

Meanwhile, the team signed Andre McCullom (33.5, 1.88 m), who played before for Coach Beit-Halachmi in Givat Shmuel. McCullom, who played last season in Yakima (CBA), has landed in Israel on Friday, and may make his debut against Maccabi Rishon.

The American guard who graduated from Cal State-Bakersfield, has played most of his career in the semi-pro leagues in the States and arrived to Israel in 02/3 for 1.5 seasons in Givat Shmuel, with which he made the Cup finals in 2003. In his first season in Israel he averaged 13.2 points and 3.1 assists, and in 03/4 he had 11.9 and 2.8.
