After the bad campaign in Israel, Sharon Sasson has finally joined his new club, Ural Great from Russia, which was already in a training camp in Latvia.

Only on Tuesday he was introduced, and last night he already played his first game for the Russian side, in Nafta Ventspils Tournament, against the local team. Sasson came off the bench to play 23 minutes, in which he scored 9 points, all from beyond the arch.

He missed all of his 5 attempts inside the three-point arch, but made 3 of 7 from downtown, in addition to 4 rebounds. Sam Hoskin, Sasson's new teammate and ex-Galil Elyon, led Ural with 19 points and 11 boards.

The Russians, who scored a dismal 30% from the floor including 6 for 24 three-pointers, led by 5 points entring the final period, after a 38 tie at intermission. The last 10 minutes saw nothing but the locals' run, which outscored Ural 30-17 en route to a 74-66 victory.
