Ice Man's Son to Givat Shmuel

George Gervin Junior (1.88 m, 27), son on the legendary Ice Man and brother of Derrick, will arrive for tryouts in Givat Shmuel.

Geroge Gervin Jr., son of Hall of Famer and 9-time All Star George, will be tested in Givat Shmuel as a possible future point guard.

Gervin Jr. scored over 29 points per game last season for Swedish runners-up Norkopping who lost 1-4 in the finals to Planja, and was voted league's MVP. The Swedish league has already sent us Jesse Salters and of course Earl Williams.

Gervin's uncle, Derrick, has played 2 years with Gvat and 1 with Kiryat Motzkin, and led the league in scoring in 95/6, averaging 27.5 points per game.

Gervin graduated from Houston University in 2000, where he played under Coach Clyde Drexler, and next to another son of NBA legend, Moses Malone Jr. Never been drafted, Gee has played under the coaching of his Dad and next to his uncle, and led Detroit Dogs to the ABA championship in 00/01, voted final's MVP. He also spent time in the CBA, Venezuela and Brazil.

His father, the original "Ice Man" has played 10 years in the NBA and 4 in the ABA. He was the first guard to lead the best league in the World in scoring for three years in a row, and 4 overall. He was elected as one of the league's best ever 50. In 9 seasons with the Spurs, and 1 with Jordan in Chicago, he averaged 26.2 points per game in 850 matches. Afterwards, he played in Manersa and Rome.
