Maccabi Kicks Off Preparation Games

Maccabi Tel Aviv will begin its preparation games tonight against Ramat Hasharon. Debut for Arnold, Penney and Solomon.
Debut for Solomon, Arnold and Penney
Maccabi Tel Aviv will play its first 2005/06 season friendly, as they'll face Ramat Hasharon in Hadar Yosef (Closed doors, 20:30). It'll be the debut of new arrivals Will Solomon, Kirk Penney and Jamie Arnold. Maccabi will play without NT players Tal Burstein, Yaniv Green and Sharon Shason, and also without Croatia's captain, Nikola Vujcic.
Next week Maccabi will play in Tzemah against Galil Elyon, before going out to a training camp abroad. Derrick Sharp was voted captain of the team, and he'll replace Gur Shelef who left to Belgium.
