Wright Joins Nahariya

After a long and exhausting negotiation, Michael Wright, ex-Hapoel Tel Aviv, signs with Ironi Nahariya.

Michael Wright (25, 2.03 m), who played in Hapoel Tel Aviv two seasons ago, returns to Israel and will play for Ironi Nahariya.

Wright, who played with United State junior national team, graduated from Arizona in 2001, after averaging 15.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in his senior year.

After being picked in the 39th place in the draft, he arrived to the Polish Wroclaw, and also played for Granada. In 03/4 he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv, averaging 13.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in the league, and 15.5 points and 5.4 boards in the Europe League, where he was also named All Star day MVP, scoring 23 points and pulling down 10 boards.

Last season the forward/center played for German Alba Berlin, where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.2 boards in the league, and 16.9 points and 8.5 boards in the ULEB Cup.

Wright joins Cory Carr and Jayson Wells as the team's third foreign player.
