Halperin will join Ljubljana

Yotam Halperin got an OK from the Israeli Army to go and play in Europe.
Halperin will join Slovenian Olimpija Ljubljana for one season.
Yotam Halperin, the leading scorer of the 2005 Young World Championship and also a member in the tourney's 1st team, will play next season in Olimpija Ljubljana. Haleprin played the last 3 seasons in Maccabi Tel-Aviv but didn't get quality minutes which help him to decide that this season he's got to leave and try his luck in another team.
Halperin was sopposed to finish his army duties in January 2006, what prevented him from playing abroad but this was settled today, and now Halperin in on his way to the Slovenian Champions.
In the past, Maccabi enjoyed Ljubljana's players such as Radisav Curcic, Beno Udrih, Sarunas Jasikevicus and Arriel McDonald. Now, it's the other way around.
