Kirk Penney (25, 1.95 m) from New Zealand has signed for next season with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Kirk Penney, a guard who played for New Zealand in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, and also led them to the fourth place in the World championships in 2002, has signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv for next season.
Penney, who graduated from Wisconsin, has played with Gran Canaria, and also had 8 games in the NBA. His purchase slims the chances that Yotam Halperin will stay in the team.
