Ironi Ashkelon replaces Avi Sukar with two players: Brian Tolbert from Petah-Tikva and Oded Sha'ashoua from Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Ironi Ashkelon recovers from Avi Sukar's surprising move to Nahariya, and signed two points guards: Brian Tolbert and Oded Sha'ashoua.
Brian Tolbert has played last season with Maccabi Petah-Tikva, who relegated to the National League. Tolbert has started the season very well, but got injured in the middle of the season.
The Eastern Michigan graduate has averaged 20.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.
Tolbert, moving south
Tolbert's backup will be Oded Sha'ashoua, who played last season with runner-up Hapoel Tel Aviv, and had a very good season. In the playoffs, the Ramat Gan native contributed 5.5 points per game.
