Avery in Jerusalem

Hapoel Jerusalem signed William Avery who played last season in Hapoel Tel-Aviv.


Avery who can play both guards position will play alongside Guy Kantor and Raviv Limonad on Jerusalem back line.


Avery (25, 1.88) arrived to Hapoel Tel-Aviv near the end of last season and in the playoffs had 17.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg and 2.7 apg.


Jerusalem is looking now for an American Small forward and an Israeli in the same position.



Avery who left Duke University after only two yeasrs was drafted by Minnesota in the 1999 NBA draft (14th).



Avery played in the TimberWolfes for 3 years averaging 2.7 ppg. He played also in French team Strasbourg and in 03/04 began in Mekadonikos and finished in Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
