Bluthental Moves to California

David Bluthental decides to leave Tel Aviv's beach in favor of California's ones. He'll sign a one-year deal with the Kings.

David Bluthental, Maccabi Tel Aviv's Jewish American forward in the last two seasons, has decided to leave Israel and accept Sacramento Kings' offer.
Bluthental had many stocks in Maccabi's Euroleague campaign, as he enjoyed some amazing shooting displays in the Final 4. He was also very impressive with the Kings in the summer league, and scored in double-figures almost every night, including several 20+ games.

The USC graduate signed a one-year contract, as the Kings have the possibility to cut him until the middle of December. Following his departure to the NBA, it seems that the Israeli NT will look for another naturalized player for their squad.

Now Maccabi will probably sign the Greek Nestros Comatos, who was on hold for the last few days. Deon Thomas' chances to stay are now better as well, but things will clear out only in the next few days.
