Tal Natan is moving from the women's 1st division league to the men's 2nd division league. Natan is leaving Bnei Yehuda (will be replaced by his assistant coach) for Hapoel Be'er Sheva, where he will replace Israel Baruch who recently left the team after reviving it over the past several years.

Tal Natan (38), Bnei Yehuda's women's coach, has signed tonight for a season and a half with Hapoel Be'er Sheva's men's team who nearly made it to division 1 last season and is now trying to recover from a slow start of the season.

"My decision was very clear to me," said Natan who didn't need to think twice about the offer Be'er Sheva gave him. "I've accomplished almost everything in women's basketball, titles, achievements, I've been in women's basketball for 15 years and that's a very long time," he explained. "I'm leaving but I'm keeping the door open and I'm sure I'll be back. I owe it to myself to show that I can succeed with the men too and we will succeed, Be'er Sheva is a place full of potential and I hope it will be ok", Natan added. "I want to thank Bnei Yedhua's management for their noble behavior, not everyone would have let me go in the middle of the season and I thank them from the bottom of my heart", he said.

Natan has won a historic double (cup & championship) with Ramla and two more cups, with Ramla and Raanana. Natan will continue to serve as Eli Rabi's assistant coach on the women's national team.

Odeliya Madmon, Bnei Yehuda's assistant coach for the 2nd straight season, will take over as head coach. Madmon will be the youngest coach in the league at 28 years old. "I'm very excited about it, I got the call at a young age, I have very big shoes to fill and it's won't be simple", she said. "I trust myself, my goal is first to get the team out of the mud and then try to surprise people", she continued, "I wish Tal good luck and all the best, he made a wise decision". Bnei Yehuda is currently 7th in the league with a 3-7 record. Next week they face Electra Ramat Hasharon in the Israeli cup 1/4 finals.
