Grew up in Maccabi Petah-Tikva… Played in the U-22 NT and was Steinhauer's backup in the NT for nearly a decade… Until Katzurin waived him… Together with Shefer and Avner Yaor, won a historic championship with Galil and a ULEB Cup with Jerusalem… Reached his pick splitting two years for the Haifa teams next to Stanley Brundy… They really completed each other… That means that Brundy fought inside and took the rebounds, and Muchtary was available to go out and score from mid-range and longer… Israeli leading scorer with Haifa/Nesher which finished in an outstanding third position… Great talent, never fulfilled himself 100%...
