Description Grew up in Maccabi Petah-Tikva… Played in the U-22 NT and was Steinhauer's backup in the NT for nearly a decade… Until Katzurin waived him… Together with Shefer and Avner Yaor, won a historic championship with Galil and a ULEB Cup with Jerusalem… Reached his pick splitting two years for the Haifa teams next to Stanley Brundy… They really completed each other… That means that Brundy fought inside and took the rebounds, and Muchtary was available to go out and score from mid-range and longer… Israeli leading scorer with Haifa/Nesher which finished in an outstanding third position… Great talent, never fulfilled himself 100%... Was supposed to be the Israeli center who inherits Tomer, but it didn't happen… Held an agreement with Maccabi Tel Aviv once, but never played there… The snowball started for him in Ramat Gan, where he didn't carry the team as he would've liked… By going to Jerusalem, it seems that he officially gave up on the opportunity to be a starter for a mediocre or better team… More of a very long forward than a real center… Unusual soft touch in his shooting for a big man… Not aggressive enough on defense and battling for the rebound… Closer to the end than the beginning, but still can contribute from his skill and experience…
